Diese zweisprachige Ausgabe des Aktiengesetzes erleichtert allen, die grenzüberschreitend im Bereich des Aktiengesetzes tätig sind, die Kommunikation und tägliche Arbeit. Anwendung findet das Aktiengesetz zunächst auf Aktiengesellschaften und Kommanditgesellschaften auf Aktien. Außer grundlegenden Regelungen für verbundene Unternehmen enthält das Aktiengesetz darüber hinaus Regelungen, die zum Teil auf Gesellschaften mit einer anderen Rechtsform (z.B. The Stock Corporation Act, in the first instance, applies to stock corporations and partnerships limited by shares. In addition to fundamental provisions for affiliated companies, it also includes provisions that apply analogously to companies of a different legal form (such as the limited liability company e.g.).
